People who talk, cough, cough, breathe or, for example, panting during exercise emit particles, also known as aerosols. An aerosol is a colloidal mixture of all kinds of solid, liquid and gas particles, with a size of 0.12 to 200 micrometers. Aerosols are proven carriers of germs and these tiny droplets can float in a room for hours. Breathing it in can cause illnesses such as the flu or illness from the coronavirus. All the more important that these particles are filtered out of the air.

“I’m thinking only about the health of our employees and me!”
At Shoemaking Bergen, a shoe maker, you find Jasmin Sisanovic – a friendly, young craftsman who does his utmost to produce high quality. To carry out proper maintenance, you need to be a real professional – shoes need to fit comfortably and look good. And that’s where Jasmin Sisanovic excels. His customers can be confident of honest, sound advice. Sometimes, shoes simply can’t be made, but in many cases repair is possible, allowing the shoes to be worn as new. Jasmin puts the greatest care into ensuring reliable repairs and carries out his trade with passion, something that is evident from the quality of the repair
Quality and building a close-knit group of customers are essential to Schoenmakerij Bergen, but for Jasmin, the well-being of his colleagues and himself is also important. The work of a shoemaker has its health risks. Polishing shoes releases dust. The machinery is equipped with extraction, unsurprisingly, but it is not enough. Jasmin Sisanovic explains, ‘We work with sprays, glue and other chemicals. We are surrounded by their vapours for large parts of the day. They get into our lungs.
We don’t have any health concerns at the moment, but what about in a few years’ time?’ Jasmin was approached by Euromate and arranged an appointment with the advisor of Euromate. ‘The idea of a clean working environment was a good enough reason to make an appointment,’ explains Jasmin Sisanovic.
Jasmin explains that the advisor of Euromate was very clear on the benefits of indoor air cleaning. ‘I was persuaded, and decided to plump for a healthy workplace with clean air. Although we hadn’t experienced any real problems, we knew that if we didn’t take any action that we’d probably have problems down the line, including with our lungs. Jasmin Sisanovic explains, ‘The air cleaner is suspended above the counter and is on all the time. Sometimes, if the vapours or dust are particularly bad, we turn the air cleaner up to a higher setting, which is easy enough with the remote control.
The air is clean again very quickly.’ Schoenmakerij Bergen also opted to conclude a maintenance contract to ensure that the air cleaner is always in tip-top condition. ‘In my profession, the most important part of the customer-supplier relationship is the service. The advisor of Euromate explained in great detail how the air cleaner works and what we can expect. We are delighted with it, and with the service we’ve had from Euromate,’ Jasmin Sisanovic concludes.
The VisionAir Blue Line air cleaner from Euromate improves indoor air quality significantly. It provides a fresh, pleasant working environment and has a positive impact on productivity and sick leave. The air is recirculated, polluted indoor air is cleaned and clean air is blown back into the room. That way no valuable heated or cooled air is lost.
The modern design of the VisionAir Blue Line fits well in every interior. Moreover, the air cleaner produces little noise and is very user-friendly in operation. To spread an extra fresh scent throughout the room, the air cleaners can be equipped with Free Breeze scent cartridges.
