New: the Euromate DFI, indispensable for healthier air quality
In industrial environments, air quality is crucial for the health of employees and the efficiency of operational processes. Particulate matter, including from industrial activities, is a serious problem with potentially harmful effects on people, machines and the environment. The advanced Euromate Dust Free Industrial air cleaner (DFI) combats this and ensures a healthier and safer working environment. Its compact size, low weight and cost efficiency make it the air cleaner for the logistics sector.
The DFI air cleaner is the ideal choice for logistics environments such as distribution centres, (retail) warehouses and fulfilment companies, where due to trends such as energy-efficient and airtight construction, there is little to no natural ventilation anymore. “Mechanical ventilation may be delivered according to the guidelines in the Dutch Building Code, but the use of space is much more decisive for air quality. Labour processes such as next-day delivery, returns and light production create additional indoor air pollution,” knows Daniel Gooijer, managing director of Euromate. “As a result, many logistics areas struggle with nuisance from (fine) dust. A problem that can be very easily remedied by continuously cleaning the air.”
Every particle is one too many..
According to the WHO, there is no health advisory value for the amount of (fine) dust in indoor air. This is because even the smallest exposure can cause health damage. “In environments with high dust nuisance, some 50 million fine dust particles are ingested with each breath,” Gooijer points out. “This concentration needs to be reduced significantly to protect the health of all employees.”
Safer and healthier working environment
Euromate’s industrial air cleaner continuously ensures a safer and more pleasant environment. For example, by increasing air quality, capturing pollutants such as (fine) dust and – as a result – reducing cleaning and maintenance costs. “Our air cleaners work according to the recirculation principle,” Gooijer emphasises. “Instead of cold outside air, warm inside air is drawn in, so heat loss is not an issue. A special filter package continuously removes (fine) dust from the air, preventing it from settling on workstations and machines. This requires less frequent and less intensive cleaning and also reduces the risk of breakdowns. Savings of 30% on maintenance costs, 70% on cleaning costs and 30% on energy consumption are no exception.” Thanks to an optional dust-controlled control, energy consumption can be further optimised while maintaining good air quality. “The online Air Safety Portal also provides real-time monitoring, ensuring that the working environment is always safer and healthier.”
Compact and lightweight design, easy integration
The DFI air cleaner is an in-house development by Euromate. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the air cleaner can be seamlessly integrated into any building, without costly modifications to the sprinkler system. No chopping or breaking is required and only one power point is sufficient. “Thanks to its lightweight design, the air cleaner gives minimal stress to the roof structure,” says Gooijer. “With this, the DFI also reduces structural concerns in situations where installed solar panels may pose a challenge.” The air cleaners are modular and scalable, ensuring they always have the right capacity. “This results in a (cost-)efficient air cleaning solution that can flexibly grow with any business.”

Real-time insight into air quality
Thanks to the online Air Safety Portal, users experience full control over the DFI, while optional AirCheq sensors provide real-time visibility of (ultra)particulate matter, CO2 levels, temperature, humidity, volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxides. On the user-friendly dashboard, users can effortlessly monitor the indoor air quality of their building(s), adjust settings and manage the system remotely. Optional alarms enable timely intervention and automated periodic reports allow building owners to effortlessly demonstrate compliance with their duty of care for a safer working environment.

Cooperation with AirTeq
“We are confident in the effectiveness of our solutions,” says Gooijer. “That is why we cooperate with our partner AirTeq for measuring and analysing air quality.” AirTeq is an authority on air quality sensors and has years of experience in measuring within various (working) environments. “By now, some 5,900 buildings in the Netherlands use our sensor solutions and more than 250,000 sensors are online,” says director Arie den Hartog. “In addition, we monitor just under 500 workplaces. Thanks to our cooperation with Euromate and the link to the DFI air cleaner, we can now effectively address the air technology challenges our sensors reveal. In doing so, building owners are assured of independent measurement and demand-driven control, extending the life of the air cleaner and filters, reducing environmental impact and ensuring safe and healthy indoor air.”
