Everything was clear to me as soon as I had finished speaking to Jos – decent and honest. We decided to take the plunge,’ explains Doctor Luijten. The first VisionAir Blue Line was purchased between the first and second waves of the virus.
During the second wave, the air cleaner system was expanded to include a double VisionAir Blue Line for the clean room, one for the assistants’ area and a mobile VisionAir that we can use in the consulting rooms. A further two have recently been added. Doctor Luijten: ‘The package of measures that we have put in place gives our employees and patients full confidence. We keep our distance, disinfect continuously, open the windows for extra ventilation, have a screen in every room, have a clean room where we can receive patients through a separate entrance and have air cleaners in place. All of this together has meant that there have been no coronavirus-related infections originating at our practice. Our patients ask us what the devices are for and always respond enthusiastically when they see the commitment we have made. The air cleaners create fresh indoor air and I myself have had far fewer upper respiratory problems since they’ve been in place.’
De Vlinder medical centre, where the medical practice is located, has also had air cleaners installed in the communal area. ‘The agreements were met, installation was smooth and straightforward. The additional mobile VisionAir Blue was delivered within a week of ordering. We are extremely satisfied!’ concludes Doctor Luijten.
