People who talk, cough, cough, breathe or, for example, panting during exercise emit particles, also known as aerosols. An aerosol is a colloidal mixture of all kinds of solid, liquid and gas particles, with a size of 0.12 to 200 micrometers. Aerosols are proven carriers of germs and these tiny droplets can float in a room for hours. Breathing it in can cause illnesses such as the flu or illness from the coronavirus. All the more important that these particles are filtered out of the air.

"When I point out the air cleaners, the customers react positively. They appreciate it."
“I make it beautiful”: This is the motto of Stephan Schulze, a notary public, for the furnishing of the notary office at Königstraße 68 in Rottweil, southern Germany, as well as for the design of the website. Anyone looking for a notary knows what a notary is and does, he says, and only wants to know: “Can I park there?” and: “Is he sympathetic?”
“That’s why I convey impressions on the website in terms of photos of the rooms, the building, the staff, myself, and a few keywords like considerate, mindful, together… Or with the information that 1 team with 13 employees brings in a total of 200 years of professional experience. And that there are plenty of parking spaces right next to the building.”
“I make it beautiful”: This also has to do with experiences from 30 years of working as a notary public – some of them in the furthest corner of a town hall “where no one else wanted to go”, when he was still a civil servant notary in public service. Since 2018, Stephan Schulze, born in 1966, has been working as an independent notary public in his home town of Rottweil.
“I still remember how the flash of inspiration about air cleaners came to me,” says Stephan Schulze. “I remembered that a good friend of mine had told a wonderful story at a seminar in Allgäu the year before about the people in her company who had converted a device so that it could be used against coronaviruses. So I said to my wife, “Send her a message right away, we need air cleaners in the office!” The acquaintance, who works at Euromate, received the message while on holiday in Argentina: “Hello, I have a question. Is the air cleaner also available for offices? We need some for our notary office.”
A few links and customer references later came the message from Rottweil: “Please make a quote for two rooms and for the reception. Standing units would be ideal.” “The public discussion of air cleaners in the media, especially where schools and public buildings were concerned, had already caught my attention. ”Then you see such devices in the gym and think it’s good, just like when you eat out in a restaurant. But the ‘trigger’ was the phone call from a client with whom I had sat and worked for a long time the day before, and who then called in the morning and said, ‘Mr Schulze, this morning’s test was positive!’
There is a solution, I thought, and said to my wife: contact Euromate, right now!” So said, so done. “What appealed to me most was the quick follow-up. The very next day, a member of staff from the sales department contacted me and sent a quotation, I ordered straight away and after seven or eight working days the devices arrived. We screwed on the feet and started using the air cleaners right away. I was pleased that things went so well and, above all, so quickly!”
What experiences have Stephan Schulze and his staff had in the period since the air cleaners went into operation? “A few days ago, a customer made intensive enquiries and photographed the nameplate,” was the spontaneous reply. “He will probably get in touch when he gets the chance.” And during work? “You get so used to the units that you hardly notice them anymore. A soft beep when switching on and off, that’s all! The air conditioning in the meeting rooms is almost more distracting! I sit in both rooms so that the units are on my left and I only hear a very soft hum. It has never bothered the customers. When I point out the air cleaners, the customers react positively. They appreciate it.”
Stephan Schulze has noticed a positive side effect: “The stench is gone!” What does he mean? “After all, you sit in a room with one or more customers for a long time when, for example, a certificate is read out. Especially in the afternoon, when the clients come back from lunch, they smell of food in their clothes. If I left the room afterwards to do something and came back in, I always thought: what a stench! Open the window.”
“That hasn’t been so strong for a long time. Of course it needs to be aired now and then – in our company, everyone sitting closest to the window has a “licence to air” – but only because of the oxygen. The musty smell is gone!” Where would Stephan Schulze like to see more air cleaners? Based on the good experiences with the three VisionAir MicrobeFree in his office – where would Stephan Schulze like to see more air cleaners? “In schools! Certainly in every classroom. I know what I paid for three units, it was worth it! If a school board orders 100 or 200, they get a discount. There are also subsidies. It is unbelievable that these funds have not been used. With an air cleaner, there would be good ventilation during the break, just like before, but the children would not have to sit in the classroom with thick coats and scarves. Order, connect, use – that should apply to every school!”
The VisionAir Blue Line air cleaner from Euromate improves indoor air quality significantly. It provides a fresh, pleasant working environment and has a positive impact on productivity and sick leave. The air is recirculated, polluted indoor air is cleaned and clean air is blown back into the room. That way no valuable heated or cooled air is lost.
The modern design of the VisionAir Blue Line fits well in every interior. Moreover, the air cleaner produces little noise and is very user-friendly in operation. To spread an extra fresh scent throughout the room, the air cleaners can be equipped with Free Breeze scent cartridges.
