Leunissen Interieurbouw is a family business, founded in 1990, which realises high-quality interior elements. The company is based in Beek (The Netherlands). Leunissen Interieurbouw is currently owned by Marc Leunissen, second generation in the family business. The third generation is also working in the company right now.
With a team of 24 committed professionals, the most diverse, small and large projects are carried out, especially for the private market.
Customisation, attention to detail, solid constructions, good cooperation with the client and/or architect, reliability, commitment and service are characteristics of all the projects.
Since April 2002, Leunissen Interieurbouw has been based in its current premises, which was newly built at the time. The premises are equipped with all modern production facilities and is partly automated, allowing the employees to deliver customised work from their expertise.
A lot of wood dust
Hans Segers is manager at Leunissen Interieurbouw. He has been with the company for more than 20 years and from the shop floor risen to his current position.
Hans states: “A lot of wood dust is generated in the production hall where the interiors are built. This is mainly due to the manual processing of the various pieces of furniture. When the premises were built, an extraction system was provided in the hall and we use source extraction where possible, but this is not enough to capture all the dust.”
Healthy indoor air in all areas
Hans continues: “ We think it is important to continuously have healthy air quality. Our people make the difference on the shop floor and we like to take good care of them. We consider the health of our employees very important. This applies not only to our people in the production hall, but also to colleagues working in the office.”
No dedicated ventilation system was provided during the original construction of the building, which meant that the air quality in the offices and canteen could also be improved. Hans: “Particularly during corona, we were showed how important a healthy indoor air quality in the workplace is.”

During the Houtpro+ fair in Den Bosch, two of Hans’ colleagues came into contact with Euromate. They were soon convinced that deploying some professional air cleaners was adding value to improve the air quality in the various business areas.

The difference
We also spoke with Dennis Janssen, one of Leunissen’s all-round interior designers. Dennis tells: “We really notice the difference before and after the installation of the air filters. There is less dust on the floor and the indoor air also feels cleaner. It’s nice that other areas such as the canteen have also been included, so we are assured of clean indoor air during breaks as well.”
Dennis concludes, “The installation of the air cleaners by the technicians from Euromate went well. Work could continue as usual while they had to mount a device above my work table..”
