Holland Packing Introduction
Packaging industrial products and capital equipment is a creative, specialised area. With a history stretching back more than 135 years, Holland Packaging has long been considered one of the best industrial packagers in the Netherlands.
The company develops, produces and supplies boxes, crates, wood and cardboard packaging in both standard designs and customised versions designed to meet customers’ preferences and requirements, all in accordance with the German HPE, French SEILA and British standards. Holland Packaging’s services are as varied as its products. The company carries out packaging on location and can assist with the stowage of containers, machine relocation and other logistics services.

Machining and processing of wood products produces wood dust that can quickly spread through the air and find its way into the nose, throat and airways, with potentially serious health effects. Wood contains substances that can irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Holland Packaging had long suffered from dust-related problems, particularly from lurking dust not extracted by the source extraction systems on the machinery. Thijs van der Made explains, “I participate in operations myself so I could easily understand employees’ complaints.”

Holland Packaging was expressed an interest in making an appointment the moment it received a call from one of Euromate’s telemarketing team.
Thijs van der Made continues, “Our packaging operations are often carried out in risky environments, in workplaces and factories, close to machines and installations, and we need to pay close attention to the health and safety of our employees. That includes improving the quality of the air indoors. The most common complaint from our employees was of dust irritating the nose. I work in the operations team myself so I understand even more how important a health working environment is.”
The advisor from Euromate carried out dust measurements on location, which underlined the need for effective air cleaning. Euromate installed four HFE/SFM-25 air cleaners at Holland Packaging.
Thijs van der Made explains, “We’re really happy with how the air cleaners work. Lurking dust has almost disappeared and our employees really notice the difference. They’re much less bothered by dust.”
HF-Series
Euromate offers the HFE/SFM unit, a very effective and efficient system for filtering (suspended) dust particles of the kind often found in warehouse environments. This includes dust produced by wood, paper, card and organic particles. Even welding fumes and oily mist pose no problem for this system. This industrial air cleaner, with integrated fan, has an electrostatic filter and bag filter.
