Comprehensive school De Nassau

At De Nassau, a comprehensive school, in Breda paying attention to and having respect for each other are key. De Nassau is a large school with two sites, three departments, about 1,800 pupils and 200 staff members. On a regular school day, there are many movements. Pupils changing classrooms, (teaching) staff at work, and in doing so extensive use is made of the media lab and study areas found throughout the school.

Chris Westerveld, owner of Euromate: “At Euromate we develop our own air purifiers. We do that from our office in Breda, where we also assemble the devices. Next to that we install the air purifiers ourselves and also do the maintenance.” He continues: “Our devices remove unwanted particles such a viruses, bacteria, pollen, fungi and (fine) dust from the air using various methods. This can be done through mechanical filtration, electrostatic filtration, UV or carbon filters. In the case of classrooms, we do this with fine-meshed mechanical filtration. De Nassau also chose this solution because it is the best way to remove the unwanted particles from the classrooms.

Teunissen adds: “We now have a combination of natural ventilation and Euromate’s air purifiers. This ensures good air quality in all areas. We have chosen for the VisionAir Blue Line. They are devices with a beautiful and sleek design, that hang neatly from the ceilings. They don’t really stand out and fit well with the appearance of the rooms.” He concludes: “Our experiences are very good and the cooperation with Euromate is going very well. For example, we were able to make good agreements about the installation of the devices. This was done outside class times on weekends and in school holidays. As a result, no inconvenience occurred. And the most important thing is that we now have fresh and healthy working and learning environments, which of course makes us very happy!”
